When He was born in Bethlehem, approximately 2000 years ago (compare with Micah 5:2; Luke 2:4-7). This point in time is referred to by God Himself as the “fullness of time” (Galatians 4:4, M.V.). Man had been tested in different ways, and had always failed utterly. Then God sent His Son and spoke through Him – or in Him – that is, in the person of the Son (Hebrews 1:1-2).
