No religion saves, not even Christianity, if it presents itself as a religion. There is only one God, the one who made heaven and earth. Only the Bible tells us about this God. He alone can authoritatively tell us what will serve to save us. If any religion could save us from eternal loss, God would have named it. Then Jesus’ death on the cross would not have been necessary. But since the sacrifice was made on Golgotha, it was absolutely necessary for salvation. Thus, the cross of Jesus gives us a clear indication that there was no cheaper method of blotting out sin before the holy God. In Jesus’ death on the cross, God judged our sin, so that only turning personally to Jesus Christ and surrendering our lives to him can save us. In all religions man must redeem himself through his own efforts; according to the Gospel, God did everything through his own Son, and man only receives salvation by faith. That is why it says so exclusively in Acts 4:12: “Neither is there salvation in any other, neither is there any other name under heaven (except Jesus) given among men, whereby we must be saved”. There is no other bridge apart from Jesus to heaven!
All religions are but glittering mirages in the desert of a lost humanity. No illusion of a water fountain will help someone dying of thirst. Likewise, the idea of tolerance for all imaginary creations ultimately leads people to death (Proverbs 14:12). You need fresh water. The Bible points very clearly to the only real oasis, the only possibility of survival, Jesus Christ:
“I am the way, the truth and the life; no one comes to the Father but by me” (John 14:6). “No one can lay any other foundation than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ” (1 Cor. 3:11). “He that hath the Son hath life; he that hath not the Son of God hath not life” (1 John 5:12).
